Joshua’s love for the arts began well before he ever picked up a camera. As a child, he used anything he could find as a canvas, even when his parents didn’t always agree. He drew on newspapers, notebooks, and sketchbooks he received as gifts. Sometimes, he even sketched on gum wrappers or the wall in his room.
He could spend hours drawing, bringing to life characters and scenes from his imagination. As he grew older, his passion expanded to video games. He was interested not just in playing them, but in the stories, characters, sounds, and music that made each game unique.
Every part of game design inspired him and sparked a creative curiosity that eventually led him to filmmaking.
Joshua Lee’s interest in filmmaking started long before he ever held a camera.
